Background

Mill City Accounting Services was founded and currently operated by Scott Marchlik.  Scott studied accounting at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.  He graduated in the spring of 2007 and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting.

In the summer of 2007, Scott was offered a job at a CPA firm in Cambridge, MA as a staff accountant.  Over the years, Scott worked with small business owners and handled all of their accounting needs.  Scott started off as a bookkeeper, and eventually worked his way into business and individual tax preparation.  Scott’s primary clientele were quick-serve restaurant owners, along with rental real estate owners.

In the spring on 2018, Scott left his position as an accounting supervisor and decided to launch Mill City Accounting Services on his own.
